Want to thank you for all you've done in the past with my boy Johnny. (St Francis 2016) We had a great time while playing for Brushback.. Not only was it fun, it was very competitive and we still have all the first place metals. You must be running out of room for trophies at your house :)
Again thanks a lot for getting Johnny ready for High school ball. He learned a ton while having fun playing travel ball with Brushback. Look forward to you coaching my 5yr old boy in a few years.

During the summer of 2011, I had just turned 13 and I was enjoying playing baseball at the Mountain View Babe Ruth (MVBR) League. Kris Mims, who was the Los Altos High School Frosh-Soph Baseball Head Coach at that time, noticed my pitching at MVBR and invited me as a guest player in one of Brushback Baseball’s travel team tournaments. I liked the Brushback Baseball travel team so much during that tournament that I joined and played for Brushback for the next 3 years.
During my years with Brushback, Coach Mims was instrumental in fine-tuning my pitching mechanics and teaching me how to achieve consistency while pitching. He took a lot of effort in helping me to perfect my 4-seam and 2-seam fastballs and my curveball. I truly believe those three years of pitching instruction by Coach Mims and the opportunities he gave me to pitch in some of the biggest tournaments laid the foundation for my current pitching abilities as a Varsity Baseball player at Bellarmine College Preparatory.
In addition to Coach Mims, I thoroughly enjoyed working with Brushback Baseball’s hitting coach Matt Nippes. I owe a lot to Coach Nippes in developing me into a very consistent hitter. Throughout my Brushback days, I consistently hit above .300 and had very few strikeouts. Even during my freshman year at Bellarmine, I sought Coach Nippes’ hitting advice whenever I felt I needed a tune up.
Today, as a successful two-year All-League and All-CCS high school Varsity Baseball player, I am in the process of deciding where to play college baseball from among the offers and interests I currently have, which range from Pac-12 to Ivy League Division 1 universities. I sincerely would like to thank Coach Mims and Coach Nippes for all their help on and off the field and laying the foundation for my current success.
As I fondly look back at the fun times I had during my three years with Brushback Baseball, besides Coach Mims and Coach Nippes, my Brushback teammates were one of the best group of players I played with, and their families were great as well.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Brushback Baseball as an outstanding baseball institution that would help not only improve and sharpen baseball skills, but also provides a fun-filled and family-oriented atmosphere.
Go Brushback!

I enjoyed being a member of Brushback Baseball Club’s 13U, 14U, 16U and 18U teams. Brushback offered a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere where I made new friends and continued to play with old friends who had been my teammates in Little League. Playing at competitive tournaments at numerous venues against a variety of teams was a great experience.
Working with coaches Kris Mims and Matt Nippes my skills were refined and developed, while at the same time I learned about the strategy and philosophy of the game from them.
Brushback prepared me to play high school baseball and I would recommend them to anyone who has the desire to play at the high school level and beyond.

NCTB has been very impressed with the level of professionalism from Brushback Baseball Club both on and off the field. They are a very low maintenance organization to deal with and all of our umpires hold their coaches in high regard. Keep up the great work and keep signing up for NCTB tournaments!
