TJ began playing baseball at the age of five and spent 13 years of his life playing the sport he loves. He played every position on the field during his youth, but primarily played outfield during the later years of his career before eventually moving on to coaching Babe Ruth and 12U baseball for three years. TJ graduated from Saint Francis High School in 2003, and he received a BS in Advertising from San Jose State in December 2008. He will begin working with Brushback Baseball Club in January of 2015.   

TJ is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT) and is currently undergoing specialized training as a “Performance Enhancing Specialist” (PES) to further develop his ability to train beginner, intermediate, and elite athletes. He began his dedication to training in the winter of 2012 with a keen interest in sports/fitness nutrition, sports performance, and body re-composition. Working with TJ, players will see great results from personalized training and nutritional consulting.

TJ will spend the 2015 season offering individual and/or group training to those interested from the 13U and 14U teams. He will also provide SAQ (speed, agility, quickness) conditioning at team practices for 10U,11U, 13U and 14U upon request.
